I haven’t posted in a while due to the overwhelming craziness that is ThinkGeek’s holiday season. It gets insanely busy here, and this week is the peak of it. However, a couple of really fun things happened in the last few days.

One, I was on the radio on KDKA’s morning news. They asked me to pimp ThinkGeek’s Instant Snow, which I was more than happy to do.

Chris KimballThis morning, I got an email from Christopher Kimball, TV Chef and editor of Cook’s Illustrated Magazine. He asked me about a particular product. I answered his email, after which he called me back. We chatted for a few minutes, praising each other’s work, and he thanked me for helping him out. How cool!

Technically, it’s flurries. They don’t expect anything more than a dusting. Still, it’s pretty

This weekend was nice and lazy! After 28 days of doing practically nothing except writing, it was nice to kick back and relax for once. Heather and I put up and decorated the Christmas tree, and watched It’s a Wonderful Life. We both love that movie, so we got to enjoy that. Shut up!

We also got out to the bookstore and bought some computer books – she’s learning the ins and outs of CSS, and I’m going to try and pick up PHP and MySql. I’ve got a little project in mind that the two of us can work on that should help us (and many other NaNo authors) next year. I can’t say much just in case we fail miserably.

Heather’s been on vacation all week – she took the week off in case she needed to cram for the last week of NaNo. As it turned out, she finished with several days to go, and had practically nothing to do all week. Those have to be the best kinds of vacations. So, I gave her all my iTunes downloaded episodes of Heroes to watch, and now she’s completely addicted to the show. She was sad to hear that, after Monday’s episode, the show is on hiatus for six weeks. Frankly, I’m sad about it, too, but we’ll find other things to keep us occupied. Snerk.
